Rynelzhen Dylan Labides: A Journey from Distraction to Determination Everyone has a story — a journey of transformation, growth, and the decision to change for the better. Rynelzhen Dylan Labides, a Grade 11 Senior High School STEM student, is one of those stories. At first glance, people might describe him as loud, lazy, or even hard-headed. But behind all that noise and distraction is a young man who’s learning how to chase his dreams and turn his life around. I chose to write about Rynelzhen because his journey shows that no matter how far off track you might feel, it’s never too late to make a change — especially when you have a dream as big as becoming a doctor.
